RF Hardware Engineer, Lead (RF)

What you will do

• Design RF circuits operating from 400 MHz to 6 GHz and across milliwatt to high-power pulsed applications.
• Simulate and analyze analog, RF, and DC power supply circuits using HFSS, Microwave Office, and PSpice.
• Support product development from requirements definition through production release.
• Conduct SRR, PDR, and CDR design reviews and address resulting actions.
• Use RF test equipment for troubleshooting, debugging, and product optimization.
• Perform de-rating, reliability, and root-cause corrective action analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering and at least 7 years of experience; an MSEE is preferred.
• Experience with RF circuit design, matching networks, gain analysis, active filtering, amplifiers, oscillators, mixers, filters, and PLLs.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, transmitter and receiver architectures, and RF link margin analysis.
• Familiarity with PCMFM, SOQPSK, BPSK, and QPSK waveforms.
• Ability to work with RF test equipment and coordinate cross-functional design teams independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Logic design experience with Xilinx, Microsemi, or Intel FPGAs.
• Experience designing digital filters with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
