ATE HW Design Technical Leader (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead the review, creation, and design of ATE probe cards and load boards from schematic capture through component placement and PCB layout.
• Define, develop, and qualify electrical and mechanical specifications for ATE equipment used in roadmap test systems.
• Lead integration, validation, qualification, and factory acceptance of ATE hardware solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for PCB, socket, handler, and prober vendors, including vendor selection and qualification.
• Define bill of materials and assembly instructions for load boards and probe cards.
• Develop verification procedures, document laboratory equipment, and diagnose technical issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with more than 20 years of experience in test PCB or load-board hardware design and/or ATE mechanical interface design.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of RF, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital test methods.
• Proficiency with PCB design, mechanical CAD, and circuit-simulation tools such as AutoCAD and PSpice, plus Microsoft Visio.
• Ability to author engineering-lab process documents, specifications, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective-action, organizational, and task-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams while working independently with minimal supervision.
