Clinical Leader Nursing Night

Location: Tufts Medical Center - Corporate Location; onsite clinical role with regular patient-care and hospital-unit responsibilities.

Pay range: $47.30–$78.04 per hour, based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily clinical and administrative operations for a designated unit, program, or service.
• Prepare staff schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate patient care and clinical services.
• Supervise, evaluate, coach, and mentor nursing and support personnel.
• Lead or participate in interdisciplinary teams, hospital committees, councils, and special projects.
• Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement, shared governance, and high standards of nursing care.
• Address patient, family, staff, ethical, regulatory, and operational concerns while supporting safe and compassionate care.

Requirements

• At least three years of clinical nursing practice with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Active Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ability to provide patient care, supervise staff, and work effectively in stressful and changing environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, organization, conflict-resolution, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Physical ability to stand and walk extensively, transfer patients, respond to emergencies, and work in environments with potential blood-borne disease exposure.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Specialty nursing certifications.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification; required for ICU, ED, PACU, and cardiac interventional units.
