Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and document individualized, age-specific care plans.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, education, and involvement of families and significant others.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate and supervise interventions, and communicate accurate information during handoffs.
• Identify changes in patient condition, escalate concerns, and consult appropriate clinical experts.
• Participate in mentoring, quality improvement, policy development, and professional nursing activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Analytical, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and keyboard data-entry skills.
• Ability to provide professional, patient-centered care and meet internal and external regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
