Registered Nurse Medial Surgical Intermediate Full Time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Onsite full-time night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Prescribe and delegate nursing care and direct the work of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, ancillary staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient responses, care decisions, communications, and outcomes in the health record.
• Participate in multidisciplinary bedside rounds, shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Use available evidence and research findings to guide clinical practice.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a medical-surgical stepdown unit.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse certification.
• Emergency room, pediatric emergency room, or emergency communications registered nursing experience.
