Registered Nurse Medical Care Center Full Time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Full-time onsite night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill adult medical and medical oncology patients in a 24-bed unit.
• Assess patients, identify expected outcomes, and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct the work of assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff while documenting care and communication.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is accepted with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide care across adult medical and medical oncology patient populations.

Nice to have

• Medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
• Emergency Room or Pediatric Emergency Room experience.
