What you will do

• Implement curriculum and activities for students from Pre-K through high school.
• Analyze assessment data to measure progress and differentiate instruction.
• Respond strategically to student learning needs and maintain a strong focus on student achievement.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment aligned with school values and expectations.
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues and support grade-level and school-wide activities.
• Participate in annual staff orientation and ongoing instructional training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed before employment begins.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Mastery of and enthusiasm for relevant academic subjects.
• Commitment to working with K-12 students and implementing feedback from school leaders and colleagues.
• New teachers do not need an education background; experience working in schools or urban communities is preferred.
• Experienced teachers should preferably have at least two years of teaching experience in an urban public or charter school; state certification and a master's degree are helpful but not required.

Nice to have

• Proven record of high achievement in the classroom.
• Prior experience working with urban youth or in urban communities.
• Valid state teaching certification.
• Master's degree.
