My New School Coordinator (Education/ELL Programs): Coordinating after-school and summer camp education programs for English Language Learners in partnership with schools, caregivers, youth, volunteers, and community organizations with an accent on curriculum delivery, participant engagement, and grant-funded program outcomes. Focus on managing program data, monitoring and evaluation, teacher coaching, reporting, and leading volunteers and interns across school-based services.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid work combining office, remote, and field time within the service delivery area; occasional domestic travel of up to 10% and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
Salary: $27.49–$28.93 per hour

What you will do
- Coordinate implementation and delivery of after-school and summer camp programs at schools and potential school sites.
- Manage participant recruitment, retention, attendance, family engagement, and program records.
- Plan workshops, lessons, caregiver and teacher conferences, and teacher observations and coaching.
- Track grant goals, outcomes, monitoring and evaluation activities, compliance, billing, and funder reporting.
- Lead and supervise volunteers and interns supporting program administration and delivery.
- Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, youth, external partners, and the Youth Education Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, counseling, or an equivalent field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least five years of experience teaching English Language Learners is required.
- Experience planning and delivering creative curricula for beginner to intermediate English Language Learners.
- Program planning and implementation skills, including the ability to manage large groups and multiple priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
Nice to have
- Public school teaching certification and experience.
- Training in responsive classrooms or restorative justice.
- Experience working with refugee or immigrant populations.
- Cultural competency training experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish, Dari, Pashto, Arabic, French, Haitian Creole, or another language spoken by the client group.
