Employment Law Associate – Litigation and Advice & Counseling

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid position

Salary: $182,500–$240,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual bonuses

What you will do

• Defend employers in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation across employment-related claims.
• Handle class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete matters.
• Represent employers before federal and state administrative agencies in discrimination charges, investigations, enforcement actions, and government contractor compliance reviews.
• Advise employers on Colorado and federal labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Counsel clients on pay equity, pay transparency, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action compliance.
• Support validation of pre-employment tests and selection procedures, including adverse impact analyses, in collaboration with analytics professionals.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 3+ years of employment law experience in litigation and/or employment advice and counseling.
• Active Colorado bar admission required.
• Understanding of current court and state and federal employment agency procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to professional excellence.
• Strong organizational, time management, project management, multitasking, teamwork, and independent-work skills.

• Experience with the listed employment litigation, compliance, or counseling areas.
• Comfort working with large data reports.
