ClientTeam Counsel (Labor & Employment)

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in a state where hirify.global has a physical office. The role is associated with California offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Torrance, Fresno, San Francisco, Costa Mesa, and Sacramento.

Salary: $145,000–$200,000 annually, adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Defend employers in primarily single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation.
• Develop defense strategies and conduct legal research.
• Draft pleadings and dispositive motions.
• Manage discovery activities, including motion practice.
• Take or defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials when required.
• Collaborate with attorneys, administrative professionals, and clients on dedicated client teams.

Requirements

• Active California law license in good standing is required.
• At least 2 years of litigation experience is required.
• Experience may come from a law firm or in-house practice; employment law experience is not required.
• Excellent analytical, writing, organizational, multitasking, and client-service skills.
• High self-motivation, accountability, responsiveness, and collaborative communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
