Medical Economics Analyst Intern (Healthcare)

Location: Remote — Florida, United States

Pay range: $18–26 per hour

What you will do

• Support healthcare vendor performance, cost, savings, and return-on-investment analyses.
• Extract claims and member data with SQL and clean large datasets.
• Analyze data in Excel and build or maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Create visualizations, presentations, and summaries for business stakeholders.
• Research legal, regulatory, and industry topics related to the functional area.
• Participate in training, development presentations, and projects supporting the managed care business.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university through the internship period.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL and Excel.
• Relevant fields of study include mathematics, statistics, and finance.
