Guadalajara | Air Import Operations Manager - Gerente de Operaciones en Importación Aérea (Air Import Logistics)

What you will do

• Support day-to-day air import quotations, local charge reviews, agreement quotes, and competitive pricing.
• Manage and improve air import processes, including general operations, breakbulk, gateway, pricing, electronic booking, and shipper-built units.
• Support team huddles, monthly meetings, workload delegation, new business transitions, and department revenue growth.
• Maintain accurate financial reporting, monitor expenses, and support department budget and revenue goals.
• Coordinate with Customer Brokerage, Trade Compliance, airlines, trucking companies, and other vendors.
• Support employee onboarding, appraisals, one-to-one meetings, goal setting, training, and development planning.

Requirements

• Customer service experience and knowledge of the global logistics industry.
• At least 4 years of industry-specific knowledge.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of relevant industry certifications and regulations, such as IATA, Dangerous Goods, TSA, or IACSSP.
