Registered Nurse CDH PICU Part-time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. On-site night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every third weekend rotation and two shifts per week.

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care and direct assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care plans, interventions, communications, and patient responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Use evidence and research findings to guide clinical decisions.

Requirements

• BSN required; an ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work scheduled overnight shifts and every third weekend.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
