Product Owner (Crop Insurance)

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $94,200–$115,000 per year, with geographic adjustments where applicable.

What you will do

• Interpret Risk Management Agency and National Crop Insurance Service changes and translate regulatory, business, and policy updates into product and workflow changes.
• Build and maintain the product roadmap, backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Product, Business Analysis, CX, UX, development, and other stakeholders to define customer-focused solutions.
• Prioritize features and capabilities based on strategy, customer value, feasibility, cost, compliance, capacity, KPIs, and OKRs.
• Support Agile planning, demos, retrospectives, requirement clarification, risk identification, and removal of execution roadblocks.
• Monitor product health and support communications, training, sales enablement, and long-term product viability.

Requirements

• Crop insurance industry experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, IT, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments relevant to the company’s business.
• Working knowledge of the crop lifecycle, system interfaces, and downstream effects of product changes on customers and employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
