Product Owner (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; available locations include Pittsburgh, PA; Glenview, IL; Raleigh, NC; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Jersey Village, TX; and Phoenix, AZ.

Salary: $119,327–$161,092 annually.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Automation use cases with business stakeholders.
• Build AI product roadmaps, define MVP scope, and guide solutions from proof of concept through production deployment and adoption.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, software engineers, architects, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders throughout Agile delivery.
• Define KPIs, success criteria, business cases, and ROI measures while monitoring product adoption and performance.
• Support Responsible AI, security, privacy, data governance, compliance, model evaluation, and human-in-the-loop controls.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Agile Delivery, or a related field.
• Experience owning or supporting technology products from business problem identification through implementation and adoption.
• Experience translating complex or ambiguous requirements into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, stakeholder facilitation, and communication.
• Working knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, analytics, or Intelligent Automation.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar product and delivery tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in Supply Chain, Sales, Commercial Operations, or related business functions.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI/ML or GenAI products from MVP to scalable production deployment.
• Knowledge of model evaluation, training and inference, data pipelines, prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure/AWS/GCP AI services, APIs, and modern data platforms.
• Exposure to AI governance, Responsible AI frameworks, ROI assessments, and value-realization frameworks.
