Senior Data Product Manager (Agriculture)

Location: Remote, Texas, United States

Salary: $115,000–$149,000 annual base pay, with potential variable pay and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for agricultural data products, including pipelines, canonical data models, APIs, and shared data services.
• Identify shared data needs and translate them into scalable, reusable platform capabilities across the agriculture portfolio.
• Evaluate datasets and capabilities based on customer value, commercial potential, technical feasibility, differentiation, and long-term scalability.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver data solutions from discovery through adoption and continuous improvement.
• Define requirements and success metrics for data quality, coverage, freshness, reliability, governance, accessibility, adoption, and commercial impact.
• Expand the use of agricultural data for analytics, predictive models, machine learning, and AI applications.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of complex data, platform, or B2B SaaS products.
• Experience managing data-intensive products involving data pipelines, APIs, integrations, analytics, or data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, cloud infrastructure, data modeling, and governance.
• Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Data Science teams and influencing strategy without direct authority.
• Understanding of data requirements for machine learning and AI, including data quality, metadata, context, governance, and reliable access.
• Strong product judgment, business acumen, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in agriculture, ag-tech, data platforms, market intelligence, geospatial technology, or another data-intensive industry.
• Familiarity with farm and field data, crop production, weather, markets, agronomy, or agricultural supply chains.
• Experience building data products for analytics, predictive models, machine learning, or AI.
• Experience with geospatial data, predictive analytics, or AI-ready data infrastructure.
