Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (Florida)

Location: On-site training at one of six Florida distribution centers; relocation out of state is required after the training program, with company-provided assistance. Travel up to 25% is required.

Salary: $28.85 per hour on a full-time schedule, with possible relocation or cost-of-living adjustments.

What you will do

• Complete a six-month, hands-on management training program in a distribution warehouse.
• Rotate through operations, management, purchasing, and other distribution-center functions.
• Observe experienced employees and shadow contractors, builders, service providers, and retail customers.
• Attend classroom training covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Complete special operations projects and present a comprehensive program completion presentation to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in industrial distribution, supply chain management, management, operations, or a related discipline, with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience, including relevant internships, organizations, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
• Ability and willingness to work in a distribution warehouse, lead and develop a team, and manage rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to operate or maneuver heavy machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts and lift products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program at company expense.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn inventory and other operational software.
