Senior Manager, Learning and Development Technical Lead (Pharma)

Location: Remote/Home-Based in the United States; role associated with Philadelphia, PA. Requires 10–20% travel.

Salary: $141,600–$212,400 annual base pay for US-based candidates, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for the Learning and Development Global Capability Product team.
• Design, build, configure, integrate, operate, and enhance enterprise learning platforms, LMS products, e-learning operations, onboarding solutions, and enablement tools.
• Translate business requirements and product roadmaps into technical specifications, architectures, work plans, and delivery priorities.
• Lead agile ceremonies and guide internal developers, software engineers, and vendor partners through end-to-end technical delivery.
• Establish standards for modular learning content, reusable assets, LMS governance, role-based learning journeys, and scalable integrations.
• Partner with Product Owners, architects, IT security, UX, business teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure compliant solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of post-bachelor’s experience, or 5+ years after a master’s degree, in learning and development, training operations, capability enablement, or related domains.
• At least 2 years in a Tech Lead, Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar developer-management role.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale learning platforms, LMS/LXP solutions, onboarding programs, training systems, and experiential learning products.
• Knowledge of system integration patterns, APIs, data architecture, analytics, security, compliance, agile product development, and technical roadmapping.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for this US-based role.

• Experience supporting Global Capability Product teams and enterprise platform teams.
