Operations Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Lapeer, Michigan, United States; onsite plant-based role

Salary: $88,700–$139,260 USD annually

What you will do

• Support plant operations management through general ledger maintenance, month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for labor, overhead, scrap, and capital expenditures.
• Analyze overhead spending, labor efficiency, and cost drivers to identify savings opportunities.
• Partner with plant leadership, headquarters Finance teams, and other Masco locations on operational improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory control programs.
• Implement accounting policies and procedures and maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to resolve complex, unstructured problems independently and work with minimal direction.
• Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• CMA or CPA certification.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
