HR Business Partner

What you will do

• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, and site leadership to resolve employee needs and improve HR operations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, workplace concerns, employee relations, and day-to-day people matters.
• Partner with the Plant Manager and recruiter to forecast workforce needs and support hiring for frontline and site-based positions.
• Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Conduct timely, objective, and well-documented workplace investigations.
• Coach leaders on performance management, attendance, corrective action, engagement, retention, training, and post-acquisition HR harmonization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of previous human resources experience.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
• Knowledge of pay and employment laws, HR practices, and legal requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
• Ability to challenge business decisions constructively and provide objective, data-driven perspectives on business and people impacts.
• Ability to work onsite at the Houston facility.
