HR Business Partner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Advise operations managers and supervisors on full-cycle employment matters, leadership development, and employee relations.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and support fair, consistent disciplinary decisions.
• Implement engagement, recognition, retention, and career development programs for the direct-labor workforce.
• Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop business solutions and track progress.
• Support staffing, recruitment, requisitions, offers, and onboarding through Talent Acquisition and Workday.
• Support payroll audits, time and attendance accuracy, new hire orientation, HR shared services, and employment-law compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience across the full spectrum of HR disciplines, preferably in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
• Experience with employee relations and investigations, confidentiality, judgment, and professional communication.
• Knowledge of US and Ohio employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, and Talent Acquisition partners.
• Must work onsite at the North Jackson, Ohio facility and comply with applicable US export-control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC policies.

Nice to have

• HRCI or SHRM professional certification.
• Experience supporting direct labor in a manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment with HR Centers of Excellence.
