Maintenance Superintendent (Industrial Gases)

What you will do

• Lead maintenance operations supporting the La Porte ASU, LHY, HYCO3, HYCO4, SMR, and Phillips facilities.
• Direct daily maintenance activities, planned turnarounds, outage recovery, and equipment integrity efforts.
• Prioritize maintenance schedules, resources, job safety plans, and execution requirements.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability.
• Coach, mentor, evaluate, and develop maintenance personnel, contractors, and succession plans.
• Partner with Operations and Plant Leadership on maintenance priorities, projects, budgets, KPIs, productivity, and long-term planning.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in petrochemical, industrial gas, refining, chemical manufacturing, maintenance, or operations environments.
• Previous supervisory, management, or maintenance leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred; equivalent technical, maintenance, or industrial experience may substitute.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP maintenance systems and the ability to train others in their use.
• Knowledge of reliability, predictive maintenance, mechanical systems, and maintenance best practices.
• Strong planning, budgeting, project management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
