Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role in a manufacturing or production environment, supporting first-shift operations and providing off-hours emergency assistance.

Salary: $73,200.00–$117,800.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead Maintenance and Custodial personnel while determining staffing, schedules, assignments, and training needs.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and review downtime records, work orders, SOPs, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Facilities Engineering to resolve equipment and facility issues and improve uptime.
• Plan scheduled shutdowns, equipment installations, facility upgrades, construction, renovation, and other maintenance projects.
• Manage maintenance purchasing, parts ordering, spare parts, departmental budgets, contractors, and capital improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety practices, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and confined-space procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree and 5–7 years of experience.
• Previous maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including direct supervision of technicians or skilled trades.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and facility utilities.
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance work-order systems, including scheduling, downtime tracking, parts inventory, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and industrial safety programs, including lockout/tagout and confined-space procedures.

• Strong team development skills covering training, coaching, performance management, and development of skilled maintenance personnel.
