Technical Project Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day planning, tracking, and reporting for a core banking modernization initiative.
• Coordinate technical and business teams to keep modernization work aligned with project goals.
• Build relationships across the client organization and understand ownership and decision-making structures.
• Escalate progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Translate technical details into clear, actionable information for non-technical audiences.
• Build trust with stakeholders ranging from day-to-day contacts to senior sponsors.

Requirements

• Strong project management experience with demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
• Experience engaging stakeholders across complex organizational structures.
• Experience in the financial industry, specifically domestic banking.
• Comfort reporting and escalating directly to senior and executive audiences.
• Experience working through ambiguity without a fully defined project playbook.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent technology experience and specialized training in lieu of a degree.
