Location: Sam's Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000 in Bentonville, Arkansas; $143,000–$286,000 in Sunnyvale, California. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and stock.

What you will do

• Define and manage large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies, aligning goals, timelines, and resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering scalable, high-availability technology solutions while mitigating risks and resolving ambiguity.
• Translate product requirements into technical designs and oversee system architecture discussions focused on performance and reliability.
• Establish and monitor program metrics, budgets, and schedules to support successful execution and continuous improvement.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders, driving consensus and alignment across teams.
• Mentor team members and promote automation and effective program practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related area, plus 6 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of technical design, system architecture, program planning, resource alignment, and delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor team members and drive continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Project management certification.
• Master's degree in business administration or a related specialization.
• Experience in product design.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
