Consulting Director - Design Practice Lead - HLS / C&M (US) (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead the US Design capability and align regional execution with global priorities.
• Oversee complex multidisciplinary product development programs from ideation through implementation and commercialization.
• Build trusted senior client relationships and advise on complex product and service challenges.
• Shape propositions, identify opportunities, and support business development and commercial growth.
• Establish design methods, tools, standards, and quality practices across delivery.
• Build, coach, and develop high-performing design teams across Health & Life Sciences and other sectors.

Requirements

• Senior design leadership, client-facing delivery, and multidisciplinary product development experience.
• Significant MedTech experience, including complex and regulated product or medical device development.
• Experience working with design, engineering, and scientific teams in technical environments.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems, particularly ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in opportunity shaping, business development, and growth.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Design Research, or a related discipline, plus 15+ years of experience in product development, innovation consulting, or outsourced product and technology development.

Nice to have

• Experience in drug delivery, diagnostics, digital health, or surgical and interventional technologies.
• Sector-focused thought leadership and knowledge of emerging healthcare technologies.
• Cross-sector experience in consumer, industrial, or wellness categories.
