Consulting Director - Healthcare Revenue Cycle

Location: Chicago, United States — 550 Van Buren. Travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is required; current average travel in the Healthcare practice is less than 50% annually.

Base salary: $185,000–$225,000 annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation: $240,500–$292,500.

What you will do

• Analyze healthcare revenue cycle processes to improve financial performance and reduce revenue leakage for hospitals and health systems.
• Develop and implement revenue cycle management best practices while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
• Lead teams delivering complex performance improvement engagements and manage budgets, invoicing, billing, and engagement-wide economics.
• Quantify financial and operational benefits, identify risks and data gaps, and develop solutions to achieve projected outcomes.
• Build customized solutions, presentations, and proposals while managing expectations and relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Lead change initiatives, coach and develop staff, and identify business development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of healthcare consulting experience related to revenue cycle.
• Experience directing hospital revenue cycle departments or team-based process re-engineering, performance improvement, and change management initiatives.
• Alternatively, project leadership and workplan management experience in consulting focused on hospital or physician revenue cycle, denials management, or patient access services.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, communication, client relationship, and change management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to contribute across multiple projects and train hirify.global staff.
• US work authorization is required.
