What you will do
- Act as the primary onshore escalation point for Operations staff and offshore delivery teams, resolving complex direct bill issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of carrier invoices and payments while meeting service-level agreements.
- Analyze recurring issues, improve processes, coordinate best practices, and support training and documentation.
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls in line with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- Identify financial risks, escalate concerns with proposed solutions, and support operational excellence initiatives.
- Perform quality audits, participate in UAT, and contribute to special projects and system or process enhancements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Direct Bill operations and insurance accounting processes.
- 3–5+ years of insurance accounting experience in Direct Bill.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Applied Epic agency management system and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort with on-site work is required to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, automation, or other process improvement methodologies.
