Senior Technical Procurement Specialist (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage global vendors for specialized server hardware, network equipment, software, enterprise licensing, and technical data products.
• Lead sourcing, renewals, negotiations, pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements.
• Coordinate cross-border hardware delivery, shipping logistics, customs clearance, import/export compliance, and depot staging across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Oversee circuit inventory, co-location cross-connects, dark fiber billing, and automated reconciliation of utilization against recurring spend.
• Work with systems and software engineers to improve procurement workflows, asset tracking, ticketing, and inventory forecasting.
• Translate complex technical requirements into commercial orders and coordinated deliveries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, information systems, industrial engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in enterprise technology procurement, IT operations, or technical supply chain coordination.
• Experience with international supply chains, customs brokers, and cross-border hardware logistics.
• Strong understanding of servers, switches, FPGAs, optical networking, data center equipment, and software licensing models.
• Advanced experience working with large data sets using SQL, Python, or advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP, or NetSuite and workflow systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
