Registered Nurse (Primary Care)

Location: LiveWell Health Center - Taylor, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $42,000–$60,000 per year at 0.6 FTE

What you will do

• Support the physician with clinical and administrative functions in a primary care clinic.
• Interview and assess patients, document medical information, and report findings to the physician.
• Perform venipuncture, basic laboratory tests, injections, vaccinations, and assisted medical procedures.
• Use electronic medical records and diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including oxygen therapy and EKG equipment.
• Coordinate referrals, specialist visits, external care, patient calls, medical record requests, and record abstraction.
• Maintain patient flow, infection control procedures, clinic supplies, inventory, and a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification and a nursing license valid in the state of practice are required.
• At least one year of primary care experience.
• At least two years of administrative experience.
• Exceptional phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the Winston-Salem health center and support patient-facing clinical operations.
