Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Part-Time Days

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care and direct the appropriate utilization of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to support care delivery and outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, communications, and responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Use available evidence and research findings to guide nursing practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is accepted with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
