Registered Nurse-Emergency Services Part Time Evenings Sign-On Bonus Eligible

Location: 1475 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, Illinois, United States; evening shift

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour; sign-on bonus: $1,500

What you will do

• Assess assigned emergency patients, identify nursing diagnoses, create care plans, and document outcomes.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and hospital services, including discharge planning and referrals.
• Provide medication education, discharge instructions, medication reconciliation, and patient-portal guidance.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient conditions, complete handoffs, and respond to changes in acuity.
• Lead and support patient care technicians, precept new staff, and coordinate care for the unit when assigned.
• Participate in quality, safety, evidence-based practice, and process-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and applicable clinical, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
