Sr Training Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote

Base pay: $63,300–$114,300 per year, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Facilitate instructor-led classroom, virtual, WebEx, and video-conference training.
• Apply adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and classroom management practices.
• Support learning needs analysis, performance consulting, and recommendations for learning solutions.
• Drive knowledge transfer, learner engagement, and speed to proficiency.
• Partner with internal and external customers, business stakeholders, senior management, and subject matter experts.
• Mentor new Performance Specialists through coaching and facilitation guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, training, or a related field with two years of training or education experience, or six years of relevant experience in insurance, healthcare, communications, or training.
• Experience in at least two areas including coaching, project management, classroom facilitation, instructional design and development, or SDO, IT, GPD, and SAM systems.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning theories and basic knowledge of testing methodologies and measurements.
• Ability to lead projects and work with multiple internal and external customers, senior management, and subject matter experts.
• Experience with a learning management system or related application, and knowledge of multiple facilitation modalities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with at least three office days per week in Chicago; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience in insurance, healthcare, employee onboarding, learning and development, or enterprise learning.
• Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training programs.
• Experience consulting with business partners on performance improvement opportunities.
• Team lead experience and advanced facilitation certifications or training credentials.
• Experience supporting curriculum implementation, learner performance, and onboarding programs.
