Value Stream Leader (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own the assigned value stream from customer order receipt through production, shipment, and delivery confirmation.
• Lead the production team supporting prepreg composites, infusion, and prototyping.
• Coordinate project planning, engineering, quality, and shipping/logistics teams through dotted-line leadership.
• Review order status, conduct floor rounds, and address safety, production, quality, and shipping issues.
• Manage capacity allocation across shared machines and headcount, resolving same-day conflicts with other Value Stream Leaders.
• Lead reviews of at-risk jobs, outbound commitments, customer on-time delivery, and cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, production leadership, or value stream management.
• Experience owning end-to-end order flow from order to shipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• Ownership mindset, safety leadership, collaboration, decisiveness, data-driven decision-making, and interest in using IS and AI solutions for operational improvement.
