Senior LCI Specialist (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Richmond manufacturing site, Virginia, United States; primary workplace with an average of 3 days per week in the office

hirify.global manufactures products and operates a new greenfield manufacturing site in Virginia, with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainable performance.

What you will do

• Partner with manufacturing leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and deploy continuous improvement strategies and maintain the site improvement roadmap.
• Establish, sustain, audit, and improve Lean Management Systems in alignment with global LCI standards.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping workshops, A3 problem solving, and other Lean activities.
• Train, coach, and mentor leaders, supervisors, and frontline employees in Lean principles, Daily Management, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Use operational analytics, business intelligence tools, and digital technologies to identify opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
• Build Power BI dashboards, automated reports, and performance visualizations, and measure the impact of improvement initiatives on SQCDP, productivity, cost, quality, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, business, supply chain, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related manufacturing environment, including Lean Management System implementation.
• Experience coaching leaders, developing organizational capability, and leading initiatives using Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, and structured problem solving.
• Strong analytical and business intelligence skills, including Power BI or comparable tools for dashboards, automated reporting, and performance measurement.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, VSM, SMED, TPM, Visual Management, A3 Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Poka-Yoke, and waste elimination.
• Working knowledge of Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, AI-enabled productivity tools including Microsoft Copilot, automation technologies, and Toyota Kata; ability to travel globally.
