Location: Plainville, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $100,870–$187,110 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead daily manufacturing execution across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, productivity, and employee engagement.
  • Manage and develop supervisors, professional staff, and operations support teams while driving accountability for SQDIP performance.
  • Plan labor, staffing, shifts, overtime, resources, production capacity, and material flow to meet customer and business demands.
  • Drive daily management, KPI discipline, visual controls, leader standard work, and operational accountability.
  • Lead Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and hirify.globalt Business System initiatives to eliminate waste, improve capacity, and strengthen standard work.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, HR, and site leadership on launches, workforce development, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, value streams, cross-functional processes, budgeting, cost analysis, and P&L concepts.
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and hold leaders accountable for performance.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production planning, material flow, change management, and stakeholder influence.

Nice to have

  • Experience with high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent operational excellence certification.
  • Experience in sensor, instrumentation, industrial, or electronic manufacturing.
