Procurement Manager (Vendor/Supplier Sourcing)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work from the San Francisco office three days per week

Salary: $146,100–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead vendor and supplier procurement, sourcing strategy development, and category management across direct and indirect procurement categories.
• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Analyze supplier quotes, total cost of ownership, spend by vendor and category, and regional trends to provide data-backed recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting using Tableau and Excel.
• Manage supplier engagement, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and contract management with legal and internal stakeholders.
• Support supplier compliance and alignment with procurement goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in supplier or vendor procurement, strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, or related project management across multiple categories.
• Experience with end-to-end third-party contract negotiations and contract management.
• Experience managing at least $10 million in annual spend.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• No immigration sponsorship or transfer is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Expertise in vendor sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, and project management.
• Experience evaluating complex spend datasets and producing actionable insights.
• Hands-on experience with procurement ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, Tableau, and advanced Excel or Sheets modeling.
