Sr. DevOps Engineer (FedRamp)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate resilient, secure, highly available SaaS and hosted infrastructure on GCP.
• Design and manage GCP networking, including VPCs, peering, Cloud Interconnect, VPN, NAT, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and incident response using CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Monitor service stability and performance with GCP observability tools and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
• Scale customer-facing environments, manage availability and change operations, and optimize infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services, and developers to deploy containerized, Kubernetes-native services and improve runbooks and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting 24x7 production operations for highly available SaaS or cloud services.
• Strong hands-on GCP experience with GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging.
• Experience with Docker, container security, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and Terraform or an equivalent tool.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go, plus strong networking knowledge covering DNS, TLS, load balancing, and service mesh.
• Experience with Java applications and the J2EE technology stack.
• Experience meeting information security and compliance standards including SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53; a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• GitOps workflow experience with tools such as ArgoCD.
