What you will do

• Create modern web-based engineering content with interactive questions, animations, labs, and challenge activities.
• Author and maintain content across materials science, thermodynamics, statics and dynamics, fluid mechanics, MATLAB, circuits, and related topics.
• Oversee external authoring projects by evaluating proposals, training authors on the zyBooks platform, and reviewing content quality.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to define and develop interactive learning tools.
• Work with project managers, marketing, and sales on instructor feedback, demonstrations, and special requests.
• Contribute roadmap ideas and support research papers, articles, webinars, blog posts, and conference presentations.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Education.
• Experience with LaTeX, MathML, and/or XML.
• Previous teaching or content-authoring experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong motivation, organization, and interest in improving engineering education.

Nice to have

• Academic research experience and publications in engineering education.
• Experience coding in MATLAB and/or Python.
