Task Area Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States; up to 10% CONUS travel as required.

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Plan, lead, organize, manage, and execute customer-facing work within the assigned task area.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for technical, cost, scheduling, communications, operations, maintenance, and delivery matters.
• Track personnel assignments, travel, deliverables, certifications, credentials, contact records, labor, costs, schedules, and security requirements.
• Prepare status reports, monthly task-area highlights, estimates at completion, meeting minutes, briefings, and technical or programmatic documentation.
• Coordinate customers, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, end users, and program resources while maintaining teamwork and mission alignment.
• Ensure work quality, security compliance, risk mitigation, and delivery within funding, timing, and staffing constraints.

Requirements

• 16+ years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• Prior managerial experience delivering mission-focused work, including OCONUS travel, overseas assignments, and austere environments.
• Knowledge of field-unique IT, communications, operations, maintenance, customer environments, vendor capabilities, and project timelines.
• Experience managing labor, costs, schedules, security requirements, financial reporting, planned versus actual budgets, and expenditures.
• Strong organizational, communication, briefing, leadership, documentation, and Microsoft suite application skills.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Customer experience as a TISO, program manager, or systems integrator.
• Experience with business development concepts.
