Senior Software Engineer, Applications (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, or Boston. The role requires an eligible US work permit. Expect 4–5 in-person company or team off-sites per year; Boston-based employees may choose how often to visit the office.

Salary: $155,000–$215,000 for Senior Software Engineer 1 or $175,000–$250,000 for Senior Software Engineer 2, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end web and mobile features and workflows for MedTech sales teams.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, product managers, and designers to solve complex product challenges.
• Use data insights to identify product improvements, resolve performance issues, and uncover new opportunities.
• Evaluate tools and technologies that improve application scalability and delivery speed.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering practices, collaboration, and team culture.
• Use agentic development tools such as Claude Code and Codex to accelerate product development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working in a product domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Postgres or other relational databases, BigQuery, and Google Cloud services, or equivalent technologies.
• Curiosity about modern technologies and agentic development tools.
• Customer-focused mindset, strong ownership, empathy, and collaborative leadership.
• Eligible US work permit required; candidates must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic experiences involving tool use, function calling, multi-step reasoning, or orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph.
