Senior Full-Stack Software Generalist (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the New York office approximately 1–2 days per week

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Build software solutions for frontier AI companies and enterprise AI application developers.
• Work across Prolific’s domains to solve customer problems and capture business opportunities.
• Collaborate directly with account managers, customer success specialists, and customers to understand problem spaces.
• Design and deliver solutions across shared codebases with a high engineering standard.
• Support production systems and respond to incidents when required.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience in a product engineering role.
• Experience translating business concepts into software models and working with monoliths and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of modern web applications, architecture patterns, and production support.
• Strong communication skills for direct customer collaboration.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, SQL or NoSQL databases, cloud deployment, and observability tooling.
• Ability to work from the New York office approximately 1–2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django, FastAPI, Vue, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Datadog.
