Software Engineer III (AI)

Location: Remote, with occasional travel to the New York City headquarters

Salary: $175,000–$195,000 per year, plus equity incentive eligibility and benefits

What you will do

• Use AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems.
• Design and work with distributed event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
• Protect user privacy and security through strong engineering practices.
• Contribute to systems that analyze billions of medical records and rank healthcare providers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with distributed event-driven architectures.
• Generalist engineering mindset and willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques.
• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience or interest in AWS, Kubernetes, and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally to the New York City headquarters.
• Existing employment authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code, Airflow, dlt, dbt, Python, TypeScript, React, or Go.
