TL;DR
Staff Product Engineer (MOSFET): Leading new product introduction and technical ownership for advanced silicon MOSFET products with an accent on device characterization, qualification, yield enhancement, and quality improvement. Focus on defining statistical test methods, solving product and process issues with international manufacturing teams, and supporting offshore product transfers across the USA, Asia, and Europe.
Location: San Jose, CA, United States of America; willingness to travel to offshore sites in the USA, Asia, and Europe is required.

What you will do
- Own advanced commercial and industrial silicon MOSFET products across their lifecycle.
- Lead new product introduction from product definition and development through characterization, qualification, and release.
- Coordinate with market development, R&D, package, device design, manufacturing, product marketing, applications, and quality organizations.
- Drive product and process problem solving, yield enhancement, and quality defect reduction programs.
- Analyze electrical and thermal characterization data and prepare device datasheets for new product releases.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives through engineering lot evaluations and product qualifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, microelectronics, or a similar field.
- Product engineering experience and strong knowledge of discrete power MOS semiconductor devices and trench MOS technologies.
- Experience driving new product introduction from product definition through characterization, qualification, and datasheet release.
- Experience creating datasheets using electrical and thermal product data.
- Strong product and process problem-solving skills using statistical data analytics and yield management software.
- Experience with offshore facility-to-facility product transfers, international product engineering teams, 8D, and FMEA.

- Familiarity with MOSFET semiconductor ATE wafer and package test methods.
