Expert Compliance Risk Advisor

Location: United States; hybrid role requiring residence in or near a collaboration hub in Costa Mesa, California; Allen, Texas; or Schaumburg, Illinois.

Salary: $82,644–$143,249 base pay annually, with eligibility for variable pay.

What you will do

• Advise internal partners on regulatory compliance requirements and consumer credit services issues.
• Assess procedural documents against global policies and create action plans for control breakdowns and regulatory remediation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, Governmental Affairs, and business teams to maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Participate as a subject matter expert in regulatory examinations by collecting and analyzing requested data and documentation.
• Support ad hoc regulatory requests and prepare materials for regulatory meetings.
• Build productive relationships and resolve conflicts while working independently and within cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in regulatory risk and compliance or audit processes.
• Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws and regulations, including FCRA, FACTA, and GLBA.
• Ability to understand complex business issues and develop practical resolution strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to reside in or near one of the designated U.S. collaboration hubs.
