Compliance Lead, Testing (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States. Most work is remote, with occasional in-person office work and an in-person onboarding experience.

Base pay: $130,000–$180,000 per year in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT; $115,000–$165,000 per year in other U.S. states.

What you will do

• Perform ongoing compliance testing and report on adherence to the compliance program and federal and state regulations.
• Complete end-to-end reviews in partnership with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, Operations, Engineering, and senior management.
• Identify regulatory gaps and deficiencies and collaborate on remediation plans.
• Coordinate compliance risk assessments and control inventories, including collecting and documenting results.
• Advise on regulatory compliance implications for new and revised products and services.
• Improve processes and internal controls supporting the Compliance Testing Program.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in compliance testing or audit.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
• Experience conducting end-to-end compliance testing activities.
• Strong project management, critical thinking, analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to present complex and sensitive issues clearly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Docs, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and other software tools.
