Regulatory Compliance Advisor

Location: Hybrid role based in Rosemead, California; employees are required to work and reside in California. The position includes reporting to an SCE facility on set days, up to 25% local travel throughout the SCE service territory, and possible extended work at an alternate location.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute district regulatory compliance audits and assessments.
• Conduct proactive compliance and operational risk assessments to identify potential non-compliance.
• Interpret changes from regulatory agencies and provide guidance on their impact on business projects and programs.
• Develop communications and participate in meetings concerning changes to standards and regulations.
• Maintain and periodically review corporate regulatory manuals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement compliant business decisions and corporate governance practices.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in regulatory compliance, compliance standards, risk assessment of non-compliance issues, or cybersecurity.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, medical, and other sensitive information.
• Must work and reside in California.
• Must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment or background investigation before hiring and complete required training before receiving unescorted access.

Nice to have

• Experience with legislative and compliance analysis.
• Experience with project planning and management.
• Understanding of NERC compliance standards.
• Strong communication, training, and public-speaking skills.
