Staff Recruiter - Expert Network

Location: San Diego, California or Mountain View, California, United States. The role focuses on recruiting for onsite Local Tax Expert offices across the USA.

Base pay: $149,000–$201,500 in San Diego or $160,000–$216,500 in Mountain View. The position may also include performance-based cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise Local Office leadership on business strategies, talent needs, local market trends, and hiring plans.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for Service Experts, Ambassador Experts, and Concierge Experts across flagship, retail, and service offices.
• Manage location-based offers in partnership with Real Estate and Compensation teams, aligning hiring with office lease timelines.
• Develop external sourcing strategies and manage internal rehire funnels.
• Create candidate experiences that communicate the value of onsite work, community impact, and flexible onsite scheduling.
• Use hiring data to identify funnel bottlenecks, report progress, and mentor recruiters and coordinators on onsite hiring.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of successful full-cycle recruitment experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
• Experience recruiting for retail, field, physical-location, or onsite roles is advantageous.
• Ability to influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders on market trends, compensation strategy, interview practices, and talent plans.
• Experience using data to diagnose recruitment challenges and communicate hiring-funnel health.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close candidates in competitive markets.
• Experience building scalable hiring infrastructure, frameworks, and playbooks in ambiguous, high-growth environments.

• Experience hiring tax professionals or leaders for community-facing roles.
