Revenue Cycle Specialist - AR

Location: Hybrid schedule in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota: three days in the office/clinic and two days working from home.

Starting pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience, with annual bonus potential. The posting also lists a starting pay range of $23–$27 per hour.

What you will do

• Facilitate daily claims, payment, and insurance verification activities.
• Review claims data to confirm insurance requirements, eligibility, prior authorizations, and required signatures before submission.
• Submit claims to private payers, insurance companies, and government healthcare programs, with a strong focus on Medicaid.
• Investigate denied claims and research related correspondence to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Provide updates and reports on the financial stability of treatment centers.

Requirements

• Experience or knowledge relevant to revenue cycle, claims, payments, and insurance verification.
• Ability to review claims for eligibility, authorization, documentation, and signature requirements.
• Ability to research denied claims and resolve reimbursement discrepancies.
• Ability to work three days on-site at the Brooklyn Park office/clinic and two days remotely.
