Product Operations (Privacy & Compliance)

Location: New York, hybrid

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build and own the end-to-end vendor onboarding compliance process, including DPA, SOC 2, and GDPR reviews.
• Manage external GRC vendors, including intake, ticketing, SLAs, quality reviews, and performance metrics.
• Run data privacy programs covering compliance tools, data subject access and deletion requests, and privacy-by-design practices.
• Create compliance review processes for new data sets and vendor evaluations.
• Build cross-functional compliance operations across Security, Legal, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and business teams.
• Support customer security and privacy questionnaires for prospective and existing customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience building and scaling operational programs, ideally in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Practical knowledge of privacy laws and frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Experience with vendor risk assessments, security questionnaires, DPAs, and subprocessor management.
• Familiarity with DSAR processes and compliance platforms such as Vanta or Transcend.
• Strong project management, communication, prioritization, and independent execution skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Experience with data mapping, privacy impact assessments, or privacy-related incident response.
• Technical understanding of SaaS infrastructure and data flows.
